Issue: "Read more" appears despite short text

Description
I don't exactly know how to reproduce this issue or what causes it, but occasionally, when I click a notification that leads to a reply in a thread, all of the replies in the thread, including the top-level comment, have the "Read more" button and the fade effect above it despite the text not being that long.
If my memory's not acting up, I remember this also happening sometimes with comments when I use the filter feature or when I change pages. Again, I'm not sure, but I'm certain of the notifications thing.

How to reproduce the issue
I dunno, the only thing that I'm sure of that this sometimes happens to me when I click a notification to a thread
