Website: April Fools aftermath

The April Fools event is now officially over! As we said in the last update, we made it last longer than usual to make up for the technical difficulties we have been having.

Now it's time to shed some light into what this prank actually was about, and how it actually worked.

First of all, just in case it wasn't obvious enough... age verification will not be a thing. We didn't use any AI to process your answers (and we will never use any kind of AI on this website ever) and no partners to share your personal data (that we don't collect) with. We didn't save any of your answers or even your birth date; we calculated a number client-side and that's the only thing we stored (just so we could give you the funny badge). The thing wasn't even remotely designed to come up with a realistic age.

The badges will be permanent, and the "gifts" you haven't sent will stay in your "inventory", but hidden. If you received a gift from a user, you can still open it even after the event is over.

Also, we have closed access to the beta site again. The regular site seems to be working normally again. If you're having issues with it, try clearing your cookies and website data or accessing the site without www in the address.

And one last thing! We published an update for the Text Box Generator a couple days ago, but it wasn't properly updated on the non-beta website. We updated the date to today and it should actually be available now.
