Economy

This server has economy plugins. This means you can have money and use it. To check your money, use /balance. Use /money help for more commands.

Jobs

Jobs are the primary way to get money. You can get up to 3, but having more jobs will make it so you get paid less.
To browse the available jobs do /jobs browse. When you see one you like use the menu or do /jobs join {name} (the menu doesn't work well on mobile).
You can change your job anytime but you'll lose part of your job level.

Shops

You can also make shops out of any container!
Place a container (ideally a chest), hit it with an item (left click, break button, or long tap) while sneaking, and type the price in the chat. On Java, you can right-click on it and use the chat links to modify it, but on Bedrock you will have to use the /shop commands.

Recommended price chart

For a more stable economy, you can base your prices off the Minecraft economy manager spreadsheet.

Changes in default mechanics

Plugins can change how the game behaves. This is how they affect this server.

Changes on Bedrock Edition

  • This server uses the Java combat system, even when playing from Bedrock. This means attacking has a cooldown (which is shown by gray dots in the center of the screen) and attacking before the cooldown finishes deals less damage.

  • Using an emote on Bedrock will switch your hands. This lets you put anything on your left hand, but won't let you use it like on Java because of client limitations.

QOL changes and new mechanics

  • Three chopping: sneaking while chopping a tree will make all of its blocks break and fall as items. The axe's durability will be reduced twice as much per block and broken logs won't count for jobs!

  • Night skipping: if 50% of the players sleep the night will be smoothly skipped.

  • Death chests: when you die your items will be stored in an AngelChest, which looks like your head. If you find it again and right-click it you will get them back.

  • Sitting and posing: Interact with stairs and slabs to sit on them. You can also use /sit to sit anywhere, or even /lay, /bellyflop, /crawl, or /spin. Cancel by crouching. Some could look weird on Bedrock.

  • Zombie villagers: ALL villagers will turn into zombie villagers when killed by a zombie.

  • Double door sync: all double doors will open and close together.

New recipes

Some plugins also add recipes for non-craftable or special items.

Camera

You can take actual pictures with this camera! Whenever you use this item with paper in your inventory, a picture of what you're looking at will be created on a map.
Keep in mind that entities will not be pictured in them.

Recipe for the camera item. It consists of three iron ingots on the left and right columns, a glass pane on the top slot, glowstone dust in the center, and redstone dust at the bottom.

Invisible item frames

You can create item frames that will become invisible as soon as you put an item inside. This includes maps, too!
This effect is not visible on Bedrock clients.

Recipe for invisiframes. Craft them with 8 frames surrounding a lingering potion of invisibility (outputs 8 frames).

Multiverse

The Multiverse plugin allows us to have multiple worlds! We have Demilands (the main survival world), a Resources world (with its own Nether), and a Creative world. They are all accessible through portals in Spawn Town.

The Resources world (and its Nether) will get resetted every major update to allow us to experience the new features without having to say goodbye to Demilands.

Discord integration

The messages sent to the in-game chat will be broadcast to a channel in our Discord server. Members of the Discord server can also talk in the game by using that channel.

Other commands

  • /rules lists the server rules in chat.
  • /spawn teleports you to the spawn hut (or back to the last location of Demilands if you're in a different world).

    • To go to the spawn of the current world, use /mvspawn instead.

  • /bed brings you back to the last bed you slept on in the current world.

  • /unload will drop your inventory in nearby chests that have the same items/blocks.

  • /imageframe lets you put images into empty maps.

    • /imageframe create {name} {url} {width} {height} creates maps with the image in the URL in the specified size (in blocks).

    • /imageframe create {name} {url} {width} {height} combined does the same as the previous, but will combine all maps within a single item (if multiple).

    • You can use GIFs, but they must be optimized. Ask if you need help.

  • /headdb or /hdb opens the custom head browsing interface.

  • /ping returns your latency, which can also be seen on the tab menu on Java.
